PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD DENGAN PENDEKATAN KONTEKSTUAL BERBASIS MASALAH UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SEJARAH SISWA KELAS XII IPS-2 SMA NEGERI 1 KOTA MOJOKERTO

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning achievement of class XII IPS 2 SMAN Kota Mojokerto by applying the STAD type cooperative learning model using a problem-based approach. The research design used is Classroom Action Research, where in PTK there are actions to improve learning activities and to improve the quality of learning in class. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Mojokerto City. The research subjects were students of class XII IPS 2. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the form of problem-based contextual learning with the STAD type cooperative method in the learning cycle was able to improve student achievement in class XII IPS 2 SMA Negeri I Mojokerto City semester I with the subject of Political Conditions The Indonesian economy during the Liberal Democracy period. This can be seen in cycle I there were 4 students out of 29 students, who had not met the Minimum Mastery Learning Standard of 70% while in cycle II, there were 1 student who had not met the Minimum Mastery Learning Standard of 70% set by SMA Negeri I Mojokerto City. Then the student's response to learning experienced an increase, namely in the first cycle the mean attitude scale was 4.12, or was on the attitude scale strongly agree while the second cycle was 4.14 or was on the attitude scale agreed. So there is an increase of 0.02.

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas XII IPS 2 SMAN Kota Mojokerto dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual berbasis masalah. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas atau Classroom Action Research, dimana dalam PTK terdapat tindakan untuk perbaikan kegiatan pembelajaran maupun untuk peningkatan mutu pembelajaran di kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Kota Mojokerto. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XII IPS 2. Bardasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa bentuk pembelajaran kontekstual berbasis masalah dengan metode kooperatif tipe Stad dalam siklus belajar mampu meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas XII IPS 2 SMA Negeri I Kota Mojokerto semester I dengan pokok bahasan Kondisi Politik Ekonomi bangsa Indonesia pada masa Demokrasi Liberal. Hal ini terlihat pada siklus I terdapat 4 siswa dari 29 siswa, yang belum memenuhi Standart Ketuntasan Belajar Minimal 70 % sedangkan pada siklus II, ada1 siswa yang belum memenuhi Standart Ketuntasan Belajar Minimal 70 % yang ditetapkan oleh pihak SMA Negeri I Kota Mojokerto. Lalu respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran mengalami kenaikan yaitu pada siklus I rerata skala sikap sebesar 4,12, atau berada pada skala sikap sangat setuju sedangkan siklus II sebesar 4,14 atau berada pada skala sikap setuju. Jadi ada kenaikan 0,02.
