HUBUNGAN SECURE ATTACHMENT DAN RESILIENSI AKADEMIK MAHASISWA FUNGSIONARIS LEMBAGA KEMAHASISWAAN UNIVERSITAS KRISTEN SATYA WACANA

This study aimed to examine the relationship between secure attachment and academic resilience among student organization officers at Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana. Previous studies have mostly examined general university students or migrant students, whereas research specifically focusing on student organization officers with dual academic-organizational responsibilities remains limited. This study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The participants consisted of 218 students selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using secure attachment and academic resilience scales that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using Spearman’s rho correlation test. The results showed a significant, strong, and positive relationship between secure attachment and academic resilience. Secure attachment was also statistically associated with variation in students’ academic resilience. These findings suggest that students with secure attachment tend to be better able to cope with academic demands and organizational responsibilities. The implications of this study highlight the importance of emotional support and attachment quality in enhancing academic resilience among university students.
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara secure attachment dan resiliensi akademik pada mahasiswa fungsionaris Lembaga Kemahasiswaan Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana. Studi sebelumnya lebih banyak meneliti mahasiswa umum atau mahasiswa perantau, sedangkan penelitian yang secara khusus menyoroti mahasiswa fungsionaris dengan beban akademik-organisasi masih terbatas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Partisipan penelitian berjumlah 218 mahasiswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui skala secure attachment dan skala resiliensi akademik yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman’s rho. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan dan kuat antara secure attachment dan resiliensi akademik. Secure attachment juga berasosiasi secara statistik dengan variasi resiliensi akademik mahasiswa. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa dengan kelekatan yang aman cenderung memiliki kemampuan yang lebih baik dalam menghadapi tekanan akademik dan tanggung jawab organisasi. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya dukungan emosional dan kualitas hubungan kelekatan dalam upaya meningkatkan resiliensi akademik mahasiswa.
