This article aims to analyze the trend of artificial intelligence (AI) utilization in the development of professionalism of student teachers through literature review and bibliometric analysis. In this study, the methods used include data collection from the Scopus database using a combination of relevant search terms, as well as data selection based on relevance criteria using the PRISMA method. The collected data was then analyzed using Bibliometrix and VOSviewer software to identify patterns and trends in AI-related publications in education. The results showed that since 2022, the number of publications related to AI in education has increased significantly, with the peak occurring in 2024. The research also identified several challenges faced in the application of AI, such as the lack of AI literacy among prospective teachers, limited infrastructure, and ethical and data privacy issues. Nonetheless, with the right approach and a comprehensive strategy, AI has great potential to revolutionize education and improve teacher professionalism in the future. This research is expected to provide insights for educators and policy makers in effectively integrating AI in the learning process.
