PENGARUH INTENSITAS PENGGUNAAN MEDIA DIGITAL DAN PERAN GURU AKIDAH AKHLAK TERHADAP PERILAKU MORAL SISWA

Abstract

ABSTRACT

The rapid development of digital technology has brought significant changes to students’ lives, including the formation of moral behavior. On the one hand, digital media facilitates access to information and learning resources; on the other hand, it may influence students’ behavior when not used wisely. In this context, the role of Aqidah Akhlak teachers becomes crucial as guides and role models in fostering students’ moral development. This study aims to analyze the influence of digital media usage intensity and the role of Aqidah Akhlak teachers on students’ moral behavior at MTs Ma’arif NU 3 Cilongok. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 41 seventh- and eighth-grade students. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results revealed that the intensity of digital media use did not have a significant effect on students’ moral behavior (p = 0.589). In contrast, the role of Aqidah Akhlak teachers had a positive and significant effect on students’ moral behavior (p < 0.001). Simultaneously, both variables contributed to students’ moral behavior, with the teacher’s role emerging as the most dominant factor. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening teachers’ roles in promoting moral education in the digital era.

ABSTRAK

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam kehidupan peserta didik, termasuk dalam pembentukan perilaku moral. Di satu sisi, media digital memberikan kemudahan akses informasi dan pembelajaran, namun di sisi lain berpotensi memengaruhi perilaku siswa apabila tidak digunakan secara bijak. Dalam kondisi tersebut, peran guru Akidah Akhlak menjadi penting sebagai pembimbing dan teladan dalam pembinaan moral siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh intensitas penggunaan media digital dan peran guru Akidah Akhlak terhadap perilaku moral siswa di MTs Ma’arif NU 3 Cilongok. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap 41 siswa kelas VII dan VIII. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intensitas penggunaan media digital tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku moral siswa (p = 0,589). Sebaliknya, peran guru Akidah Akhlak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku moral siswa (p < 0,001). Secara simultan, kedua variabel berkontribusi terhadap perilaku moral siswa, dengan peran guru sebagai faktor yang paling dominan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya optimalisasi peran guru dalam penguatan pendidikan moral di era digital.
