Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not there is an influence of the PMRI approach on the problem-solving abilities of fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 93 Palembang. The research method used is experimental research. The subjects in this study were fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 93 Palembang. The research sample was 26 students, and the population was 52 students. The data collection techniques used were tests and documentation. From the results of the analysis carried out by the author, the influence of the Indonesian realistic mathematics education approach on students' problem-solving abilities on flat geometry material includes: understanding problems, planning problem solving, calculating, and rechecking. Based on the Independent Sample T-Test test, it was obtained that the t-value was 7.327> t-table value of 1.671, thus it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The results of the study conducted by the researcher showed that there was a significant influence between the use of the Indonesian realistic mathematics education approach on the problem-solving abilities of fifth-grade students on flat geometry material.

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk adalah untuk mengetahui ada atau tidak ada pengaruh pendekatan PMRI terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 93 Palembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas V SD Negeri 93 Palembang. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 26 siswa, dan populasi sebanyak 52 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan tes dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil analisis yang dilakukan penulis, bahwa pengaruh pendekatan pendidikan matematika realistik indonesia terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada materi bangun datar, meliputi: memahami masalah, merencanakan pemecahan masalah, melakukan perhitungan, dan memeriksa kembali. Berdasarkan uji Independent Sampel T-Test diperoleh bahwa nilai t hitung 7,327 > nilai t tabel 1,671 maka dengan demikian dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha dierima. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan pendekatan pendidikan matematika realistik Indonesia terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas V pada materi bangun datar
