HUBUNGAN ANTARA PEMBERDAYAAN PSIKOLOGIS DENGAN WORKFORCE AGILITY PADA KARYAWAN PRODUKSI PT X

The manufacturing industry plays a vital role in the global economy and tends to focus on production processes, thereby closely involving production employees. Continuous development and change demand that production employees respond and adapt effectively. This research seeks to explore and illustrate the connection between psychological empowerment and workforce agility among employees in the production secto. A correlational quantitative research design was employed, using a saturated sampling technique involving 157 employees from the Production Division. Data were collected using psychological empowerment and workforce agility scales. Data analysis was conducted using Pearson product-moment correlation via SPSS version 25.0 for Windows. The results indicated a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) and a correlation coefficient of 0.791 (r = 0.791). These results show a significant, strong, and positive relationship between psychological empowerment and workforce agility. So, the higher the psychological empowerment, the greater the workforce agility among PT X’s production employees. The implications of this study suggest that the company should facilitate development programs that enhance dimensions of psychological empowerment, such as job skills training, employee involvement in decision-making, and recognition of employee initiatives and contributions.
ABSTRAK
Industri manufaktur memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian global dan cenderung berfokus pada proses produksi, sehingga erat kaitannya dengan karyawan produksi. Adanya perkembangan dan perubahan yang terus menerus menuntut karyawan produksi respon dan adaptasi yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasikan dan membuktikan hubungan antara pemberdayaan psikologis dengan workforce agility pada karyawan produksi. Studi ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan teknik sampling jenuh pada 157 karyawan Divisi Produksi. Pengambilan data penelitian menggunakan instrumen skala pemberdayaan psikologis dan skala workforce agility. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode korelasi pearson product moment memakai perangkat lunak SPSS versi 25.0 untuk windows. Berdasarkan analisa data, didapatkan nilai signifikansi mencapai 0,000 (p<0,05). Selain itu, diperoleh koefisien korelasi mencapai 0,791 (r=0,791). Nilai yang diperoleh mengindikasikan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan pemberdayaan psikologis dengan workforce agility serta tergolong kuat dan positif. Dengan kata lain, semakin tinggi tingkat pemberdayaan psikologis karyawan, maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat workforce agility karyawan produksi PT X. Implikasi penelitian ini diharapkan perusahaan memfasilitasi program-program pengembangan yang dapat meningkatkan dimensi pemberdayaan psikologis, seperti pelatihan keterampilan kerja, melibatkan karyawan dalam pengambilan keputusan, dan memberikan penghargaan atas inisiatif serta kontribusi karyawan.
