PENGARUH DISIPLIN BELAJAR MOTIVASI BELAJAR DAN FASILITAS BELAJAR TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA DI SMPN 1 SIDOREJO MAGETAN

Abstract

The background of this research is based on the phenomenon of low student achievement, which is more pronounced in non-academic areas than in academic areas. This study employed a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data collection was conducted through observation, questionnaire distribution, and documentation. The population in this study was all students of SMPN 1 Sidorejo Magetan, using a total sampling technique, with a sample size of 340 students, excluding inclusive students. Data analysis used multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS Version 26 statistics to test the simultaneous and partial effects of the three independent variables on student achievement. This study used an eight-point Likert scale as the instrument for distributing the questionnaire via Google Form. The results showed that learning discipline, learning motivation, and learning facilities had a positive and significant influence on student achievement at SMPN 1 Sidorejo Magetan. This finding indicates that student achievement is not solely determined by enthusiasm and support from the learning environment, but also by a disciplined attitude in undergoing the learning process and utilizing school infrastructure effectively. Therefore, schools are expected to instill a culture of consistent learning discipline as part of a strategy to improve student achievement.

ABSTRAK
Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada fenomena rendahnya prestasi belajar siswa yang lebih menonjol dalam bidang non-akademik dibandingkan akademik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, penyebaran kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMPN 1 Sidorejo Magetan, dengan teknik total sampling, sedangkan sampel yang diambil berjumlah 340 siswa kecuali siswa inklusi. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda melalui statistik, IBM SPSS Versi 26 untuk menguji pengaruh simultan maupun parsial dari ketiga variabel bebas terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala likert delapan poin sebagai instrumen penyebaran kuesioner melalui google form. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa disiplin belajar, motivasi belajar, dan fasilitas belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa di SMPN 1 Sidorejo Magetan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa keberhasilan prestasi siswa tidak hanya ditentukan oleh semangat dan dukungan lingkungan belajar, tetapi dipengaruhi oleh sikap disiplin dalam menjalani proses pembelajarandan memanfaatkan sarana prasarana sekolah dengan baik, oleh karena itu sekolah diharapkan mampu menanamkan budaya disiplin belajar yang konsisten sebagai bagian dari strategi peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa.
