Abstract

Preserving the nation's cultural heritage is the duty of every individual as part of the society that inherits it. The cultural values passed down by our ancestors are not only a source of pride but also a symbol of a nation's identity on the global stage. Therefore, research on traditional culture, especially regarding the educational values contained within it, is crucial to continue exploring and developing. This research focuses primarily on the Islamic educational values within the local wisdom of the people of Pajenekang Island, Pangkep, through the Tammu Taung ritual tradition in Pajenekang Island, Pangkep Regency. The research method applied is qualitative with a phenomenological approach to delve into the experiences and meanings contained in these practices. The results show that: (1) The Tammu Taung ritual tradition on Pajenekang Island is a cultural heritage that encompasses historical, spiritual, social, and educational values. This ritual is performed annually to commemorate the struggles of key figures such as Syekh Naiman Petta Rabbu and Gallarang Bantang Harun Rasyid in fighting against the Dutch colonialists. (2) Behind this celebration, there are Islamic educational values embedded in every aspect of the ritual. Divine values, social values, patriotism, and moral education are taught through togetherness, mutual cooperation, and respect for Islamic teachings and historical struggles.

ABSTRAK
Melestarikan warisan budaya bangsa adalah kewajiban setiap individu sebagai bagian dari masyarakat yang mewarisinya. Nilai-nilai budaya yang diturunkan oleh nenek moyang kita bukan hanya menjadi kebanggaan, tetapi juga simbol identitas suatu bangsa di kancah global. Oleh karena itu, penelitian mengenai kebudayaan tradisional, khususnya dalam aspek nilai-nilai pendidikan yang terkandung di dalamnya, sangat penting untuk terus digali dan dikembangkan. Penelitian ini memiliki fokus utama pada Nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam Dalam Kearifan Lokal Warga Pulau Pajenekang Pangkep Melalui Tradisi Ritual Tammu Taung di Pulau Pajenekang, Kabupaten Pangkep. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis untuk mendalami pengalaman serta makna yang terkandung dalam praktik tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunujukkan bahwa: (1) Tradisi ritual Tammu Taung di Pulau Pajenekang merupakan warisan budaya yang mengandung nilai-nilai sejarah, spiritual, sosial, dan pendidikan. Ritual ini dilakukan setiap tahun untuk mengenang perjuangan tokoh-tokoh penting seperti Syekh Naiman Petta Rabbu dan Gallarang Bantang Harun Rasyid dalam melawan penjajahan Belanda. (2) Di balik perayaan ini, terdapat nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam yang terkandung dalam setiap aspek ritualnya. Nilai Ilahiyah, sosial, patriotisme, dan pendidikan moral diajarkan melalui kebersamaan, gotong royong, serta penghormatan terhadap ajaran Islam dan perjuangan sejarah.
