Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of differentiated learning at SMP Negeri 6 Batang in an effort to achieve the educational process standards set by the government. In addition, this study also aims to explore the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of differentiated learning at the school. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a case study research type. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis involving teachers, principals, and students. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of differentiated learning at SMP Negeri 6 Batang has been going quite well, although there are still some challenges. Learning that is adjusted to students' abilities and needs can increase student participation and learning outcomes. The main supporting factors include teacher commitment and the availability of varied learning resources, while the inhibiting factors are limited teacher training related to differentiated learning strategies and limited time in learning planning. This study concludes that differentiated learning can contribute positively to achieving educational process standards, but further efforts are needed to improve teacher competence and provide adequate facilities.
