Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of educational personnel as agents of educational innovation in madrasas. In the context of modern education, educational personnel not only serve as administrative support but also play a strategic role in driving change and fostering innovation. This research employs a library research method to analyze the role of educational personnel as agents of innovation in madrasas. The method involves collecting, reviewing, and analyzing various relevant literature, including scholarly journals, books, research reports, and documents related to education and madrasa management. The findings indicate that educational personnel in madrasas significantly contribute to education management, the implementation of new technologies, the development of programs supporting curricula based on Islamic values and general education, as well as the professional development of educational staff. However, several challenges, such as limited training, inadequate resource support, and insufficient policies, remain obstacles to their role as agents of innovation. This study recommends strengthening training programs and implementing more supportive policies to empower educational personnel in maximizing their role in advancing educational innovation in madrasas.

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan peran tenaga kependidikan sebagai agen inovasi pendidikan di madrasah. Dalam konteks pendidikan modern, tenaga kependidikan tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pendukung administrasi, tetapi juga memainkan peran strategis dalam mendorong perubahan dan pengembangan inovasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan untuk menganalisis peran tenaga kependidikan sebagai agen inovasi pendidikan di madrasah. Metode ini melibatkan pengumpulan, penelaahan, dan analisis berbagai literatur yang relevan, termasuk jurnal ilmiah, buku, laporan penelitian, dan dokumen yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan dan manajemen madrasah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tenaga kependidikan di madrasah berkontribusi secara signifikan dalam pengelolaan pendidikan, penerapan teknologi baru, pengembangan program-program yang mendukung kurikulum berbasis nilai Islam dan pendidikan umum serta pengembangan kepropesionalitas tenaga kependidikan. Kendati demikian, beberapa tantangan seperti keterbatasan pelatihan, dukungan sumber daya, dan kebijakan yang belum memadai masih menjadi hambatan dalam peran mereka sebagai agen inovasi. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan pelatihan dan kebijakan yang lebih mendukung tenaga kependidikan untuk memaksimalkan peran mereka dalam memajukan inovasi pendidikan di madrasah.
