PENGEMBANGAN E-MODUL INTERAKTIF KOMPONEN ELEKTRONIKA AKTIF DAN PASIF PADA MATA PELAJARAN DASAR-DASAR ELEKTRONIKA KELAS X SMK

Abstract

This study was motivated by the unavailability of independent learning materials that could support students in studying active and passive electronic components in a structured manner. The teaching of Basic Electronics to Grade 10 students in the Communication Electronics Engineering program at SMK Negeri 5 Surabaya still relies on textbooks and PDF materials and is predominantly conducted through lectures and direct practical activities. This study aimed to develop an interactive e-module that was feasible for use and to determine its effectiveness in improving students’ learning outcomes. The product was developed using the Lee & Owens model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The novelty of the developed product lies in the integration of learning materials, component illustrations, instructional videos, interactive quizzes, PhET-based electric current simulations, Padlet-based discussion forums, and navigation buttons into a single e-module presented as a Heyzine digital flipbook. The product trial involved a subject matter expert, a media expert, and Grade 10 students in the Communication Electronics Engineering program. The effectiveness test employed a pretest-posttest control group design involving an experimental class and a control class. Feasibility data were analyzed using percentage calculations, while learning outcome data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and an independent-samples t-test. The validation results showed that the e-module obtained a feasibility score of 92% from the subject matter expert and 95% from the media expert. The individual trial obtained a score of 92%, while the small-group trial obtained 88%, indicating that the e-module was categorized as highly feasible. The effectiveness test yielded a significance value of 0.002, indicating that the use of the interactive e-module had a significant effect on students’ learning outcomes. Therefore, the interactive e-module was considered highly feasible and effective for teaching active and passive electronic components.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum tersedianya bahan belajar mandiri yang dapat mendukung siswa dalam mempelajari materi komponen elektronika aktif dan pasif secara terstruktur. Pembelajaran Dasar-Dasar Elektronika di kelas X Teknik Elektronika Komunikasi di SMK Negeri 5 Surabaya masih menggunakan bahan ajar berupa buku paket dan PDF serta lebih banyak dilaksanakan melalui metode ceramah dan praktik langsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan e-modul interaktif yang layak digunakan serta mengetahui keefektifannya terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Pengembangan produk dilakukan menggunakan model Lee & Owens yang terdiri atas tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Kebaruan produk yang dikembangkan terdapat pada penyatuan materi, gambar komponen, video pembelajaran, kuis interaktif, simulasi arus listrik berbasis PhET, forum diskusi berbasis Padlet, serta tombol navigasi dalam satu e-modul berbentuk Heyzine flipbook digital. Uji coba produk melibatkan ahli materi, ahli media, serta siswa kelas X Teknik Elektronika Komunikasi. Pengujian keefektifan menggunakan Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design yang melibatkan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Data kelayakan dianalisis menggunakan perhitungan persentase, sedangkan data hasil belajar dianalisis melalui uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji-t (Independent Sample T Test). Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa e-modul memperoleh persentase kelayakan ahli materi sebesar 92%, ahli media sebesar 95%, dan uji coba perorangan memperoleh persentase 92% sedangkan uji coba kelompok kecil memperoleh 88%, dari data tersebut dikategorikan sebagai sangat layak . Hasil Pengujian efektivitas menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.002, sehingga penggunaan e-modul interaktif dinilai memiliki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, e-modul interaktif dinyatakan sangat layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran materi komponen elektronika aktif dan pasif.
