PERSEPSI MASYARAKAT TERHADAP LULUSAN PENDIDIKAN UMUM DAN PENDIDIKAN KEJURUAN PADA TINGKATAN PENDIDIKAN VOKASI

This research is a review of literature research on Public Perceptions of graduates of general education and vocational education at the vocational education level. The method used in this scientific article is to use a literature review that is compiled systematically, so as to produce quality output in viewing how graduates of both general and vocational education enter the job market or vocational education. This scientific article, the authors collect from various countries that apply the role of graduates of general education and vocational education at the vocational education level so that the author presents educational and training information descriptively complemented by articles that can be accessed from each review literature. The number of education systems that have developed with the separation between general education and vocational education makes the community and youth faced with the choice of deciding on their vocational education at the end of junior high school. Vocational education and training have played a central role in promoting the transition from school to the world of work for young people. The assumption developed by Vocational Education is that it can empower a compatible workforce, master basic abilities or skills that can be used to be competent in the spelling market, have an impact or contribution to the national economy, have social benefits and is also aimed at preparing novice workers and is directed at workforce needs in the community. The main purpose of this research is to examine more about the public's view of how graduates of vocational education and general education have career levels. The results of this study indicate that vocational track graduates are more likely to have literacy skills advantages, short-term job advantages, and long-term job disadvantages compared to general graduates in tracking graduates.
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini merupakan review penelitian literatur tentang Persepsi Masyarakat terhadap lulusan pendidikan umum dan pendidikan kejuruan pada tingkatan pendidikan vokasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ilmiah ini adalah menggunakan kajian litaratur review yang disusun secara sistematis, sehingga menghasilkan output yang berkualitas dalam memandang bagaimana lulusan pendidikan baik umum dan kejuruan dalam memasuki pasar kerja ataupun pendidikan vokasi. Artikel ilmiah ini, penulis himpun dari berbagai negara yang menerapkan bagaimana peran lulusan pendidikan umum dan pendidikan kejuruan pada tingkat pendidikan vokasi sehingga penulis menyajikan informasi-informasi pendidikan dan pelatihan secara deskriptif yang dilengkapi dengan artikel-artikel yang dapat diakses dari masing-masing literatur riview. Banyaknya sistem pendidikan yang berkembang dengan pemisah antara jalur pendidikan umum dan pendidikan kejuruan membuat masyarakat dan remaja di hadapkan pada pilihan yang dimana harus memutuskan pendidikan vokasi mereka diakhir sekolah menengah pertama. Pendidikan dan pelatihan kejuruan telah memainkan peran sentral dalam mempromosikan transisi dari sekolah ke dunia kerja bagi kaum muda rakyat. Asumsi yang dikembangkan oleh Pendidikan Kejuruan yaitu dapat memberdayakan tenaga kerja yang kompitibel, menguasai kemampuan atau keterampilan dasar yang dapat digunakan untuk berkompetensi dalam pasar kerja, memberikan dampak atau kontribusi terhadap ekonomi nasional, memiliki manfaat sosial dan juga ditujukan untuk mempersiapka pekerja pemula serta di arahkan pada kebutuhan tenaga kerja di masyarakat. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini agar lebih mengkaji bagaiamana pandangan masyarakat tentang bagaimana lulusan pendidikan kejuruan dan pendidikan umum tingkatan karir. Untuk Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa lulusan jalur kejuruan lebih cenderung memiliki kekurangan keterampilan literasi, keuntungan pekerjaan jangka pendek, dan kerugian pekerjaan jangka panjang dibandingkan dengan lulusan umum dalam melacak lulusan.
