Abstract

This article aims to discuss the importance of the soft skills aspect of critical thinking skills in Vocational High Schools, especially for the industrial revolution 4.0. Teachers  have a strategic role to improve these soft skills aspects so as to deliver graduates who really become  competent human resources in facing the 4.0 industrial revolution by mastering 3 domains, namely knowledge, skills, and attitude. Several educational strategies that can improve creative thinking skills based on problems are adalah project based learning, problem based learning, guided inquiry learning serta cooperatif learning. This review uses the study method of the relevant literature. The stages of writing a review article are follows by: (1) conducting an article selection process by identifying the feasibility of the article; (2) evaluate the article data; (3) perform analysis and interpretation of the literature. The results of this review article show that students's critical thinking skills at Vocational High School have an important urgency to be fulfilled by improving critical thinking skills of Vocational High School.

ABSTRAK
Artikel ini bertujuan membahas pentingnya aspek softskill kemampuan berpikir kritis pada Sekolah Menengah kejuruan (SMK) khususnya di masa revolusi industri 4.0. Guru selaku pengajar mempunyai peran yang strategis untuk meningkatkan aspek softskill tersebut sehingga melahirkan lulusan yang menjadi SDM yang berkompetensi dalam menghadapi revolusi industry 4. 0 dengan menguasai 3 ranah yaitu knowledge, skill, serta attitude. Beberapa strategi pendidikan yang dapat melatih keahlian berfikir kritis yang didasari atas permasalahan adalah project based learning, problem based learning, guided inquiry learning serta cooperatif learning. Artikel review ini menggunakan metode study terhadap literatur-literatur yang relevan. Tahapan penulisan artikel review adalah sebagai berikut: (1) melakukan proses seleksi artikel dengan cara mengidentifikasi kelayakan artikel; (2) mengevaluasi data artikel; (3) melakukan analisis dan interpretasi terhadap literatur. Hasil dari artikel review ini menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada SMK memiliki urgensi yang penting untuk dipenuhi dengan cara meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMK.
