The utilization of digital libraries in higher education has not yet been fully accompanied by the development of students' critical thinking skills, thus requiring internal factors that can optimize the use of digital learning resources, one of which is self regulated learning. This study aims to analyze the influence of the use of the UNESA Digital Library on critical thinking skills through self regulated learning among undergraduate students in the Office Administration Education program at Universitas Negeri Surabaya. The research uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory method. The research sample consisted of 297 students selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was conducted through a questionnaire, then analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with the help of SmartPLS 4. The research results show that the use of digital libraries contributes to the improvement of critical thinking skills, self regulated learning contributes to the improvement of critical thinking skills, and self regulated learning mediates the relationship between the use of digital libraries and critical thinking skills. These findings indicate that the effectiveness of utilizing a Digital Library in enhancing critical thinking skills does not only depend on the availability of digital information sources but also on the students' ability to direct, monitor, and evaluate their own learning process independently. This research implies that the optimization of Digital Library services needs to be integrated with the strengthening of self regulated learning to support the development of students' critical thinking skills in the higher education environment.
