DETERMINAN USE BEHAVIOR DALAM ADOPSI SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN: IMPLIKASI PEDAGOGIS DALAM PEMBELAJARAN TEKNOLOGI PERKANTORAN

Digital transformation has encouraged the implementation of Management Information Systems (MIS) across various organizations to improve the effectiveness of information management. This development requires human resources with adequate digital competencies and the ability to adapt to rapidly evolving technologies. This study aims to examine the factors influencing Management Information System use behavior and to identify their pedagogical implications for Office Technology Education. A quantitative approach was employed involving 106 Management Information System users from a government institution as respondents. Data were analyzed using the Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA) method. The findings reveal that users’ resistance to technological change and their intention to use the system do not have a significant effect on actual system use behavior. These results indicate that the use of mandatory systems is influenced more by organizational demands and workplace conditions than by individual user factors. The study further suggests that the development of digital competencies in Office Technology Education should be supported by authentic practical experiences, adequate technological infrastructure, and learning environments that reflect the realities of the digital workplace.
ABSTRAK
Transformasi digital telah mendorong implementasi Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) pada berbagai organisasi guna meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan informasi. Situasi ini menuntut ketersediaan sumber daya manusia yang memiliki kompetensi digital serta kemampuan adaptasi terhadap perkembangan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi perilaku penggunaan Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) serta implikasi pedagogisnya bagi pembelajaran Teknologi Perkantoran. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 106 pengguna Sistem Informasi Manajemen pada salah satu instansi pemerintahan sebagai responden. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecenderungan pengguna untuk menolak perubahan teknologi maupun keinginan individu untuk menggunakan sistem tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku penggunaan SIM. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa penggunaan sistem yang bersifat wajib lebih dipengaruhi oleh tuntutan organisasi dan lingkungan kerja dibandingkan faktor personal pengguna. Implikasi penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan kompetensi digital dalam pembelajaran Teknologi Perkantoran perlu didukung oleh pengalaman praktik yang autentik, kesiapan infrastruktur teknologi, serta lingkungan pembelajaran yang mencerminkan kebutuhan dunia kerja digital.
