RELEVANSI IBADAH PAGI TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN SPIRITUAL SISWA SMP

ABSTRACT
Students' spiritual development is an important aspect in character formation, but there is still a low level of religious discipline, social awareness, and moral values ??among students. One effort that can foster spiritual values ??is the implementation of morning worship at school. This activity functions not only as a religious routine, but also as a means of fostering faith and spiritual habits that have an impact on students' positive behavior. This study aims to determine the relevance of morning worship to the spiritual growth of students at the UPTD SMP Negeri 4 Gunungsitoli Selatan. The method used is quantitative with a sample of 30 students from a population of 199 people (15%). Data were collected through a questionnaire containing 30 statements, tested for validity and reliability (rii = 0.625). The results of the normality test showed that the data were normally distributed, while the linearity test showed a linear relationship between variables. Based on the hypothesis test, t = 9.561 > t = 1.697, which means there is a significant influence between morning worship and students' spiritual growth. Thus, morning worship plays an important role in fostering students' spiritual awareness, morality and religious character, so it needs to be developed more creatively and consistently in the school environment.
ABSTRAK
Perkembangan spiritual siswa merupakan aspek penting dalam pembentukan karakter, namun masih ditemukan rendahnya kedisiplinan beribadah, kepedulian sosial, dan nilai moral di kalangan siswa. Salah satu upaya yang dapat menumbuhkan nilai-nilai spiritual adalah pelaksanaan ibadah pagi di sekolah. Kegiatan ini berfungsi tidak hanya sebagai rutinitas religius, tetapi juga sebagai sarana pembinaan iman dan pembiasaan hidup rohani yang berdampak pada perilaku positif siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui relevansi ibadah pagi terhadap pertumbuhan spiritual siswa di UPTD SMP Negeri 4 Gunungsitoli Selatan. Metode yang digunakan ialah kuantitatif dengan sampel 30 siswa dari populasi 199 orang (15%). Data dikumpulkan melalui angket berisi 30 butir pernyataan, diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya (rii = 0,625). Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan data berdistribusi normal, sedangkan uji linearitas menunjukkan hubungan linear antar variabel. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis diperoleh thitung = 9,561 > ttabel = 1,697, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara ibadah pagi dan pertumbuhan spiritual siswa. Dengan demikian, ibadah pagi berperan penting dalam menumbuhkan kesadaran spiritual, moralitas, dan karakter religius siswa, sehingga perlu dikembangkan secara lebih kreatif dan konsisten di lingkungan sekolah.
