The rapid development of digital technology requires parents, especially working mothers, to possess awareness and the ability to manage technology use efficiently, while balancing professional and parenting roles. This study aims to examine the influence of work-life balance and digital parental self-efficacy on digital parental awareness, specifically in the subdimension of efficient technology use. A quantitative research approach with an online survey was conducted with 182 working mothers who have children aged 5–15 years and are actively using gadgets or the internet. The results show that work-life balance and digital parental self-efficacy have a positive and significant effect on digital parental awareness in the efficient use of technology (R² = 0.239, F = 28.151, p < 0.01). These findings reveal that 23.9% of the variance in efficient digital awareness can be explained by these two variables. A balance between work and personal life supports mothers' involvement in overseeing their children's technology use, while digital self-efficacy enhances their ability to manage technology in a safe and productive manner. This study underscores the importance of programs that enhance work-life balance and digital self-efficacy training for working mothers in the digital age.
